Karen is an experienced and compassionate couples therapist who specialises in helping people navigate relationship challenges in a respectful and collaborative way. Her approach is warm, client-focused, and grounded in deep curiosity about what helps couples reconnect and move forward.
Karen works closely with each couple to understand where they’re feeling stuck and supports them in finding healthier ways of relating. She believes in creating a safe and supportive space for honest exploration, always holding the therapeutic relationship at the heart of her work.
Alongside her clinical practice, Karen is the founder of the Institute of Couples Therapy, where she trains and supervises other therapists in couples work. She offers both individual and group supervision, with a particular focus on supporting therapists working with couples.
Karen is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and an accredited clinical supervisor. She draws on a humanistic, integrative approach, with ongoing training in a wide range of therapeutic modalities to support her work.
Karen offers sessions in person and online.
