Working with Conflict: Developing a Relational Stance in Couples Therapy

49.00

Working with Conflict: Developing a Relational Stance in Couples Therapy is a three-hour, in-person workshop for therapists who are working with, or considering working with couples. The training explores why couples become stuck in conflict despite wanting change, and how therapists can hold a grounded, relational stance in the presence of blame, anger, and defensiveness. Through a practical and reflective lens, you’ll develop greater confidence in understanding reactivity through the vulnerability cycle, creating structure and safety in high-conflict sessions, building a strong working alliance, and using interventions that can be integrated directly into your couples work.
