From the very beginning, the heart of the Institute of Couples Therapy has been simple:
to ensure couples have access to the highest quality therapy possible.
The quality of our relationships shapes the quality of our lives. When we are at our best or our most vulnerable — celebrating, grieving, facing uncertainty — we turn to the people closest to us. And when those relationships feel fragile or disconnected, the impact is profound.
Couples don’t come to therapy lightly. They often arrive feeling desperate, stuck in patterns they can’t shift on their own, longing for something better but unsure how to get there. They deserve to be met by therapists who understand the complexity of relationship dynamics — therapists who can hold the work with care, skill, and ethical clarity.
And yet, so many therapists are asked to hold this depth of work in isolation.
This community was created to change that.
The ICT Community is a space for therapists who take this work seriously, who want to reflect, stay curious, and keep learning alongside others who understand the responsibility of sitting with couples. It’s a place to ask the questions that linger after sessions, to share the weight of the work, and to feel less alone in it.
Because the space we hold as couples therapists matters.
And it deserves to be supported with the same care we offer our clients.
