Róisín Mc Daid, founder of Coast Mediation and Consultancy, is an Accredited Mediator with the Mediators Institute of Ireland. Her career spans decades of work in social care, child development, family law, and HR, making her uniquely equipped to support families through challenging transitions.
With qualifications including a Diploma in Mediation and Employment Law, a Master’s in Management, and a BA in Social Care, Róisín brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. She has extensive experience managing and delivering services in residential child protection, disability teams, and family support sectors.
In her recent role as Manager with Barnardos Family Support Service, Róisín led intensive parenting programmes and child development interventions in collaboration with Tusla Child and Family Agency. Her expertise in trauma-informed practice ensures that her mediation work is rooted in empathy, impartiality, and a focus on constructive future planning.
